Much has been written about the snow storm that happened earlier this week. People were stranded on the interstate, some of them for more than twenty hours. Daydreaming about Our Summer Vacation

We have had record cold weather here in Georgia this week. It was so cold that they cancelled school, not because of snow and ice, but because of concern that with the extreme cold (6 degrees) school buses wouldn't work, kids wouldn't be warm enough at the bus stops, and they couldn't keep the schools warm enough. Fall Fun

Fall has always been one of my favorite times of the year. The crisp, cool air is always a refreshing change after one of Georgia’s hot summers. Some of our favorite activities happen in the fall. There are festivals and fairs, annual visits to Burt’s Pumpkin Patch, Trunk or Treating, and playing in the leaves.
